The Cove at The Lakefront® is pleased to offer a robust learn-to-swim program with year-round lessons!
Our year-round learn-to-swim program helps children build confidence, safety, and skills in the water.

The Cove at the Lakefront® Water Safety and Skill Development Program incorporates water safety in all aquatic environments with the primary focus on lakes and pools. Each class will start with a safety topic discussion and the topic will be re-emphasized through activities during class.
Students will demonstrate the tier prerequisites the first day of class and be moved accordingly to provide a successful and positive learning experience. Students may remain at a tier for several sessions because progression is skill based.
Each session is eight classes. The Ducks (ages 3-5) classes will be 30 minutes. The Fish (ages 6-12) classes will be 45 minutes.
Participating in year-round swim lessons is the most effective way for your child to become a safe and confident swimmer and helps them retain more knowledge for longer periods of time.
The Cove™ offers lessons for ages 3-5 and 6-12.
Each swim class has a maximum of five participants per instructor with a max of two instructors. You will be notified via email or phone if a class is cancelled or rescheduled.
Swim lessons at The Cove™ are 30-45 minutes long depending on the class.
Classes may be moved at the Town’s discretion if only two or fewer classes have enough enrollments to make. If your class is cancelled or postponed, you will be notified by your instructor.
Residents of Little Elm and members of The Cove™ can register two weeks prior to the class start date.
Non-residents and non-members can register one week prior to the class start date.
Residents of Little Elm and members of The Cove™ receive a discounted price on swim lessons. Swim lessons are $90-160, based on the class. Residents and members must register in person to receive the discount.
Non-residents and non-member pricing for swim lessons is $100-170, based on the class.
